These are penny items at Dollar General for the week of April 17th.

Penny Items at Dollar General

All items with a brown dot should be a penny now, with the following exceptions.

• Pillows with brown dot tag are full price.
• Luxury pillows with brown dot are a penny.
• Character body pillows (Cinderella, Disney, etc.) have no dot are a penny.
• Appliances with brown dot tag are full price.

Penny Items at Dollar General

Right now it is said that Halloween and Thanksgiving items are still a penny at Dollar General. However, that can reset at any time.  If you get to the register and an item does not ring up for a penny, remember to politely ask to put it back. Don't demand that they give it to you for a penny because they don't have to.

Christmas items pennies out a couple of weeks ago however the following items are NOT a penny:

• Christmas blankets
• Christmas trees
• Wrapping paper
• Pinecone LED lights

Be aware of the following exceptions for penny items:

• Cordial cherry's -- only 5 piece are a penny
• DeMet nut clusters not a penny but Chateau nut clusters are
• Most gift sets are not but the $3 gift set with the penguin is

The following Christmas items should be a penny:

• Holiday plastics
• Ornament holders
• Wreath holders
• Wrapping paper holders
• Other items with red "holiday" tags
• Any items that look like holiday not explicitly listed above.
