Look for Sales on School Supplies and Dorm Room Items

This time of the year, start looking for discounts on school supplies and dorm room items.

Schools supplies include things like crayons, notebooks, reams of paper, pencils, pens or other office supplies.

Dorm room items are things like desk lamps, quilts and bedding, throw rugs and pillows, mini fridges, lava lamps or even toiletries.

Even if you aren't in school or going to college you can take advantage of these sales.  I buy magnetic locker shelves and mirrors for work and to organize at home. I also stock up on notebooks. A lot of places like ShopRite will sell single subject spriral notebooks 10 for a dollar. That's ten cents each!!

At Dollar General, the sales and penny items will be anything that is now out of season.  Look for Independence Day, Memorial Day or going further back even Easter or St. Patrick's Day are still probably a penny.

Fourth of July probably not a penny yet but still starting to discount.
