What is Christmas in July?

What is Christmas in July?

Christmas in July

Christmas in July is a celebration and a weekend of sales in July on or around July 25th.

Countries such as Australia that are in the southern hemisphere of the world have their summer season in December and their winter in July. For that reason, Christmas type celebrations are held during July when it feels more like a traditional cold and snowy Christmas. Also, there are no major holidays in the United States for almost two months between July 4th and Labor Day and retailers use the Christmas in July idea to have sales during that time period. During the hot summer months in the United States and Canada, many people long for the cold months of winter and the Christmas season. Many retailers hold sales on the weekend right after July 25th which is this coming weekend.

Be on the lookout for these Christmas in July sales to snag some mid-summer savings.
